Wacky Wigglers

This great toy that Dinoguy received for Christmas has been Trainboys' favorite toy of late. He has been up early several mornings, singing to himself and building with them.  Here he built one called "pigtails". You can see it in motion in the video below.

Playing Outside!

Beautiful weather means playing in the backyard again. Munchkin demonstrated that she has become a toddler by driving play cars, climbing the slide, and demanding to get on the trampoline (with no bouncing by her brothers).

Dinoguy may start to realize he's gotten a bit bigger...

But Munchkin figured out how to drive quite easily.

She also visited all the chairs in the yard and checked out the tiny play house.

Here she is making her way up to the slide. (I went and helped after snapping a photo.)

Trainboy and Dinoguy are getting pretty good at the monkey bars.

Though Trainboy climbed down when I tried to take a picture.

Creepy Crawlers & Spiderweb Cookies

We made some tasty spider web cookies with chocolate spiders on them at the same time we were playing with the creepy crawler baker Dinoguy got for his birthday. (Only pictures of the process here, forgot to take pictures of the final product - but the link is here.)
The creepy crawler baker has a thermal lock that won't let it open if there is any residual heat in it. Meaning it took over an hour to make each bug. Which is why we were making cookies while waiting for the bugs to be done. Fixitman cut off the locking mechanism of that lock after a day of that.
Then it didn't take more than 10 minutes to make a bug at a time. Dinoguy and Trainboy were able to create a bug army!
Because what else do you need as a boy than a bunch of icky sticky bugs?
