Shoshone Falls

After successfully packing up all of our belongings and moving them into storage, we took off for our Summer Fun, visiting Family across the country. First up was Idaho. Shoshone Falls was turned on full flow while we were there which doesn't happen much (they divert the flow for irrigation) so we went to see it, it was an awesome sight.
Seeing Shoshone Falls

Isn't it gorgeous?

Double rainbows!

Excited kids don't hold still for pictures

Tada! 6 at once!

Baby dealing with too much hair in his face. Oh how he needed a haircut!

The rainbows from the mist were fantastic.
We also went to see Twin Falls, the falls for which the city is named for, which is just a few miles down the Snake river. Except they killed one of the falls. No longer can you see the twin falls, just one fall and where the other one was before they diverted it, also for irrigation and power. No pictures, I just found it depressing.

Fellow Texas cousins (June)

Got baptized!

We saw our Fellow Texans and cousins in June before heading off on our summer adventures. (Two sets of cousins pictured here.) First for a baptism and then second because my mom was visiting and wanted to see her grandnephews!

Fairy Tale Castles

We went to the Arboretum and enjoyed some activities and exploring the fairy tale castles they had set up. I took spring pictures of the kids too, motivated by the desire to get a cute picture of Baby while he's still a baby!
Love his smile!

Cheese!

She was so tired here
I think this is my favorite

As you can see, we had some fun. Baby's hair was already getting a bit long too. On a random side note, I had two people stop and ask me about my sling that day. No one has ever even commented on it and both people loved it and wanted to know where to get one like it. (I made it myself back when Trainboy was a baby.)
Baby while I'm wearing him in the sling. You can see how his hair is getting in his eyes. (And that he's tired)

May events

Dinoguy wanted to spike his hair into a mohawk. Trainboy built a lego special creation I was supposed to print off and help him mail into the magazine. We did some fun science experiments - like making our own cabbage PH indicator juice and testing things in the kitchen to see if they were acids or bases. Baby's hair started getting a bit long...
We found a few different ways to eat purple cabbage after making the juice too - because we had a lot of it!

May swing set play pictures

It was a beautiful spring this year. We had nice weather for most of May and the kids enjoyed the swingset a bunch. These pictures make me nostalgic since we gave away the swingset on Craigslist when we moved. Must get a new one!
